I’ll be painting words, flowers, lots of detial like people and also some base colors too. I don’t know what kind of paint this is good for, what kind of coat to put over it (matt or gloss) and also I what kind of brushes work best?

And if you can give me an idea on what kind of sander to get to sand the furniture b/c the sheets of sandpaper aren’t going to cut it! ha!

THANKS!

I want to paint my room, right now it is just white and I **** it. I would like to paint it something creative like gold or silver but I’m not sure which colors would work. (Probably not gold). I also don’t want a black room even though that would probably look good. I am also not a big fan of yellow, and I don’t think that that would work either. Please help!

our dining room and living room (both lower level) have red oak flooring, the rest of the house is carpeted. Our walls are khaki and our window trim is white. We are thinking of matching the blinds to the hardwood floor. Would this work? And should we have all of the blinds be the same color, or is it acceptable to mix it up from room to room? We are concerned about having different color blinds viewable from outside the house. Thanks in advance.

I’m staining a work table made of pine 2×4’s. I finished staining, and I’m not sure if I should spray the piece with polyurathane to make it shiny or more protected.

I have a small guest house we are planning on putting hard wood floors in the kitchen and hallway, They are the snap together ones and Iv heard they are very easy to do but The floor is cement, we sanded it all down and everything but it still doesnt look that great, would it still work fine to just put the pad over it and then the hard wood floors? We are trying to do this by ourselves we cannot afford to have someone do it, So I just want to be sure I am doing it all right. Any tips/instructions?? Is it really as easy as I hear??
