Trying to work full time on a day job and part time on a work-at-home job can be very exhausting. Because your body is weakened, both full-time and part-time jobs are suffering. It is a good thing that there is still a chance for you to work both full-time as well as part time jobs at the same time but only if you can follow some biological facts and set a few healthy boundaries.

You have to know and understand what your body needs. Your body needs at least eight hours of sleep each night. You have to do exercises from thirty minutes to a full one hour each day. You have to eat at least three very nutritious meals during the day. It is even better if you consume smaller snacks everyday. You have to make a plan about the necessary activities in order for your body to stay healthy. Once you get sick, you won’t be able to finish your job in the morning during your full-time job. You can also work efficiently during your part-time work-at-home jobs if your body is well rested.

You should make scheduling your primary friend. You need to realistically schedule your work-at-home jobs. If you are already working on a project that would take several days to finish and then the client offers another one, you have to inform your client that you are still working on the previous task. You might not be able to submit the new tasks if you accept to work on them.
__________________________________________________________________

You might still be able to work on additional tasks eight hours on Saturday and another eight hours on Sunday. However, you need to spend more time to relax and enjoy your rest days.

It never is a good idea to do your part-time work-at-home job while you are working your full-time job at the office. You will never be able to finish anything if you try to juggle your full-time job and part-time job while working at the office.

Like an acrobat in a circus, trying to make a balance between your part-time job working at home and the full-time day job can be challenging. But if you keep yourself healthy and set the right boundaries, you should be able to do both jobs efficiently. Work-at-home jobs are very lucrative these days. Someday soon, you might find yourself leaving your full-time job for a part-time job working at home.

Bamboo wood flooring is a truly beautiful form of flooring that will greatly add to the appeal of your home. For hundreds of years, bamboo flooring has taken the form of portable mats made from long slices of bamboo strips bound together with twine, which is often also made from bamboo. This form of bamboo flooring is still popular today. However, modern bamboo flooring (which has only been in existence for around a decade) takes the form of flat, machined planks. These planks can be treated so that the wood is comparable to other forms of hardwood in terms of longevity and toughness.

Bamboo flooring is available in several different forms for use, such as snap-together and floating flooring. Each form has its own advantages. Snap-together flooring has purpose made joints that fit into each other. It is a relatively easy way to install flooring, although there is certainly still cutting involved to get complete floor coverage.

Floating flooring is a very interesting way of laying bamboo flooring. In this technique, a thin bamboo veneer sits atop a high density fiberboard core. Two major advantages of this technique are that the flooring is stabilized by the core and that it makes for a much less messy and complicated installation than nail/glue down solid flooring. You just roll out the underlayment and then lay the bamboo on top.
__________________________________________________________________

Bamboo has an advantage over many other forms of wood flooring in that it is a much more environmentally friendly resource. Bamboo is a renewable resource in that bamboo reaches maturity in just a few years, compared to decades for other forms of wood. Bamboo is actually a tall, tree-like grass that grows all over the world, although much of the bamboo used for flooring comes from China. Some species of bamboo grow well in poor geography, and most species can grow very quickly (sometimes as much as three feet a day!). Bamboo reaches full maturity in four to six years and can be harvested at a rate of around 25% per year. So bamboo is a short-rotation plant that can be harvested over and over. In addition to being a good material for flooring, bamboo also has edible parts which can provide sustenance for both humans and wildlife.

From a cleaning perspective, bamboo should be treated like any other wood flooring. Sweep regularly to avoid buildup of abrasive particles and lightly damp (not wet!) mop with a wood cleaner. Any excess water that gets on the flooring during cleaning should be removed immediately. Never use ammonia-based chemicals or cleaners. The flooring should be vacuumed and cleaned regularly. Furniture placed on bamboo flooring should have protected padding. And it is strongly suggested that a high quality door mat be used to prevent dirt and moisture from getting spread to the bamboo.

Bamboo is an environmentally friendly flooring option that is extremely beautiful. If properly cared for, it will last for many years, and there are installation options that can make installing it a breeze. It will add to the value of your home and to the quality of your home life.

Cork is a wondrous material that provides mankind with numerous benefits. Cork is made from the bark of the evergreen species of oak genus called the Quercus. The wood is native to southwest Europe and northwest Africa. It has also been introduced into warmer areas of the United States, but by far the number one producer of cork oak is Portugal, which accounts for half of the world’s cork.

The cork oak tree has a very thick bark (known as “cork”), which can be harvested for the first time from the tree after about twenty five years. The cork pulled from the tree is light, flexible, and compressible. It is also resistant to liquids and gases. Its resistance to materials passing through its cells is a result of its chemical composition, which contains a large amount of suberin. Suberin contains acids which make it elastic and compressible. After its initial harvesting, a cork oak tree can be harvested about once a decade.

Cork’s number one use is for wine stoppers. The demand for cork continues to rise as wine makers continue to use natural cork more than alternatives. Natural cork has the advantage of not soaking up the flavor of wines, as non-natural corks can do.

Cork has many other uses beyond its traditional role in capping wine bottles. Due to its fire resistance, cork has been used in rocket technology, as well as to make bricks for homes. Technological innovation has also resulted in the material becoming popular for use in footwear, furniture, and floor tiles.

The waste produced from cork that is heated to extreme temperatures is called black agglomerate. Black agglomerate has many uses as well, such as for vibration, thermal, and acoustic insulators. It is also prized for its appearance and is often used for ornamental and artistic purposes. The grinding of cork produces white agglomerate, which is useful for industrial purposes. White agglomerate is also used in the construction of sporting goods, such as golf clubs, rackets, helmets, and baseballs. Also, cork grains can be combined with rubber to form rubbercork, which is used for electrical and automobile purposes.

As mentioned above, Portugal produces half of the total cork in the world. The country’s pleasant Mediterranean climate is ideal for growing cork oak trees. About 720 thousand hectares in Portugal are devoted to the growing of cork oak trees. One hectare equals 10 thousand square meters, so this represents a very large amount of land. A cork oak tree can live up to 200 years and will typically be harvested many times in its lifetime.

Cork is a natural product that is harvested naturally, so no damage is done to the environment. In addition, the material can be re-used and is biodegradable. There is no synthetic version of cork (the production of which would likely be much more damaging to the environment than natural cork harvesting), so it is a valuable material that does no damage in its production or consumption.

So now you know more about cork than you probably ever though you would. It’s a product with many uses that can be re-generated naturally over and over. It’s truly a wonder wood.

Live and Work in the Mountains of Tennessee

If you have ever wanted to get away from office politics, live in the serenity of nature, and still hold down a high-paying job, the time has come. A revolutionary residential development concept is coming together in the Mountains, high on the Cumberland Plateau near the resort town of Monteagle. So says Grant Miller, developer of the Village on Sewanee Creek, a Spa Lifestyle community anchored by a luxury medical spa and a community amphitheater with a 30-foot-wide screen that is wired for the future.

The Village has high-speed DSL that would enable a minimally tech-familiar executive to easily set up a home office and begin telecommuting from his Tennessee mountain paradise. Miller is working with the local telephone co-op to be the first development on the mountain to bring fiber optics directly to the home. That’s like plugging directly into the Internet trunk line with not only SUPER-high band width, but also high-definition TV and video-on-demand delivered over bullet-proof fiber optics, not cable. This is state-of-the-art stuff in the middle of the woods. Finally, we’re starting to realize the benefits of technology to make our lives more livable.

Grant Miller, Developer of the Village on Sewanee Creek

In his earlier corporate life as an international division president, Grant Miller oversaw employees and franchisees in over 50 countries for big name retailers like Blockbuster, 7-Eleven, Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin-Robbins, and Papa John’s. For over fifteen years he used the Internet for real-time video conferencing, desktop sharing, and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) in a virtual home office environment, so he not only understands the technology that is now commonplace, but more importantly, how to make it work in the corporate world. Miller says, “The Internet is an incredible productivity tool that helped me reduce costs, local commute time, and international flights while I worked, sometimes strange hours, from the comfort of my home office. It played a valuable role in keeping my communications fresh and current across long distances and changing time zones. The productivity boost was essential; the flexibility it gave me to be with my family, to do what I wanted, and to be where I wanted made life worth living.” Now, with fiber optics reaching remote locations, one can really live.

Proximity to Nashville, Chattanooga, and Huntsville

Miller says, “I chose the location of the Village for a lot of reasons beyond its breathtaking natural beauty. I wanted to develop a community that would attract not only retirees, but also young, active, working families. I knew we would already have high-speed DSL, but equally important to the Village is proximity to Nashville, Chattanooga, and Huntsville. Their airports are all about an hour away. When I lived in Atlanta and Los Angeles my airport commute time was at least that long across town. The combination of high-speed Internet and sizeable airports makes it possible for most executives to work from paradise–if you know how. Close proximity to the University of the South brings the cultural element that an upwardly mobile executive craves. This is the Sweet Spot.”

For anyone ready to make the leap, Miller is offering a 15-minute, live, online demonstration of both the technology and the Village. For those who become neighbors in the Village, Miller is a resident and says he’s happy to be both productivity and lifestyle coach.”

WOW, pack your bags!

Jimmy Cox asked:

One of the most important things for the novice wood worker who wants to make this a permanent hobby, is to keep your tools clean and in good repair. If you use dull or rusted tools, you work will turn out sloppy and you will most likely not want to continue to fine tune your skills. Orderliness and carefulness, with knowledge and patience, are sure to bring good results, just as a lack of them will bring failure.

Good workers take pride in keeping their workbenches in good order as well. Tools that are not in immediate use should be placed in their racks so they will not be damaged or cause injury to the worker. If the business end of the tool is touched, it should be wiped off to prevent corrosion.

Now that you know how to take care of your tools, let`s put them to work. But what should you make? A custom picture frame is a good thing for the beginning woodworker and will also make a nice gift for that special someone.

The first thing is to determine what size you want your woodworking project to be. Be sure that the inside or a hole` is the size of the picture. If you plan on putting a picture in the frame, the outside edges need to be bigger than that.

Now, for the material to be used in your woodworking project. Since you are doing a picture frame, you can use just about any wood you would like, whether it is picture frame molding that can be bought at local craft stores, builders molding or even just lumber from the lumber yard. The latter you can pick up at your favorite home improvement store. For the beginner or the more advanced woodworker, picture frame molding may be the best choice as it comes with the grove for the glass already cut. With the other two options, you will have to do this groove yourself with a router.

After you have your material and sharp, clean tools, you are ready to start your woodworking project. Now, using a hand saw, cut the material four lengths, one for each side. Cut the edges at a forty five degree angle be sure you measure for this when cutting. Now, lay them on a flat surface and arrange the pieces so they form the shape of the frame that you want. Now, join the corners using wood glue and corner clamps. This is done easily by applying the wood glue to the cut edges, then using the corner clamps to keep them tight while the glue is drying.

The next step is to turn the woodworking project over so it is upside down and put two V nails through the glued joints. This will give the frame more sturdiness for longer a longer shelf life.

Now, just let it finish drying overnight. In the morning, you can do any sanding and staining that you want.

Of course, this is an example of a basic woodworking project. With time and practice, you will get to the level of making chairs, coffee tables, beds and dressers.

MLM is a impressive online or offline concept for many reasons but the most obvious is for the type of income it can create the network marketer. It is so simple that many a wealthy fortune 500 company have used, some are still using, this professional model to build multi-million dollar kingdom and creating a MLM working at home business opportunity for many.

Most people would almost certainly answer yes to this question. Everybody can use additional income every calendar month. But where is this additional income going to come from?

One obvious answer ought to be is to get a second job. This option may seem to be the best solution but is exceedingly not. This is because the time you spend on your second job and the money you receive after taxes is not sufficient.

You will have to take into consideration your reasons for acquiring a second job and why you need the additional income to determine if getting a second job is truly the right way out for you.

However, you can begin working on your own part-time MLM working at home business opportunity . You can get begin in MLM nearly nothing for costs. This is a big plus.

Remember to choose a company that has a proven track record and that offers consumable products or services with an outstanding compensation plan and support from upline and the company itself.

Another important key thing is your commitment to the company and its products and services. You need to be using these products and services yourself, and you need to like them, so you can properly promote them. HOMER
Johan Nickson asked:

The power tool most often used in woodwork today is perhaps the router. The humble router is the mainstay of many woodworkers’ workshops and along with the bandsaw it is usually mentioned as the tool most of us wood workers could not do without.

A surprisingly large percentage of amateur woodworkers would often over look the versatility of a router often spending much more money on there jigsaw, believing it to be the more useful of the two tools. Personally, I think you just have to watch a router in the hands of a skilled artisan such as Norm Abram to realize this isn’t true.

Dovetail joints are a good example of this. Yes, they can be done with a jigsaw and a little patience. However, it is many, many times easier safer and quicker to use a router with a dovetailing jig, as Norm usually shows us on the New Yankee Workshop.

Many amateurs also consider the router an dangerous tool. Yes, it is dangerous, very dangerous in fact. The router should be treated with the up most respect. The kind of respect you show a Doberman. Router cutters spin very fast (up to 30,000 rpm), so do not underestimate the speed with which they will have a finger off - it will be gone long before you even feel it! That said, there is an old saying in woodworking that the tool that you respect the least is the one that will bite you. At least with the router your careful a steady with it. There is a surprising number of people across the world who have lost a finger or two to the humble bandsaw.

It is often said that the home workshop is the most dangerous place you can be. So please if you are investing in a workshop, make sure you save some money for some safety equipment. Such as goggles, dust masks and extractors. However, do not forget the often-overlooked safety devices such as a kill switch for any powered machines. Keep a powder fire extinguisher to hand, along with an eye bath and a well-stocked first aid kit.

As I mentioned above the wood router can be used for all sorts of problem tasks in the workshop. For example, Trend Machinery has a jig for cutting out a hole for a mortise lock. Whist this is not a time consuming task in its self, imagine having to fit doors in an office block or block of flats. Another popular use of the router is for jointing kitchen worktops together.

Whilst the router is an often-feared tool, it is also very versatile. As the old saying goes with great power comes great responsibility. If I were to recommend a router to you, I would have to say a Trend Machinery T11 or Makita 3612 if you are looking for a large router.

Band saw wise, I would suggest a Scheppach Basato 4 it is a high quality saw that is not too expensive.

Remember people measure twice cut once.
