Our society has a whole set of descriptive terms for what many employees feel about their work.  “The daily grind.”  “Monday morning blues.”  “TGIF — Thank God It’s Friday!”  It’s a sad commentary on how many of us spend our lives making a living and trying to ignore the fact that we are not making a life. This is one of the reasons people are flocking to the Internet to create lucrative online businesses and to regain control over their time.

We trade precious hours of our lives to someone or some company that buys that time with money.  And most often, not nearly enough money for the sacrifices we make.  Family time is minimal.  Relaxation is nearly non-existent.  Having enough money for a minor vacation is a struggle.  Stress runs rampant.

We are conditioned from an early age that education is the key.  Get a good education so you can get a good job so you can make good money.   If we’re lucky, our parents instill in us the drive to become self-employed.  But even then, it’s far too easy to create a “j-o-b” for ourselves, and continue to trade our time for money.

Is there another way?  Can we create a different, more rewarding life?  Yes, absolutely.  To do so, we must let go of the “employee” mindset and truly create a business that provides an income that is not based on the number of hours we can work, but is based on the value we can provide to others. If it’s a home-based business, so much the better.

How do we provide value?  The most important step really has very little to do with any product or service.  It has to do with one’s mindset and time spent on personal growth and learning to develop your leadership skills.  Learn to be the leader that others want to follow.  If you can do that, then you can create an immensely successful business, no matter what field you enter.  People will be drawn to you and your business will flourish.  This can be demonstrated most dramatically in the online business arena, where you can quickly become the “go to guy or gal” for your type of business, while investing far less time than you do as an employee, simply by demonstrating leadership in your chosen field.

If you are an employee who is dreading your next Monday morning, create a new path for yourself. A home-based online business provides a tremendous amount of time and money freedom.  Life is too short to spend it dreading the start of another week, then wishing that week away so you can get to the next weekend.

Whether you operate a furniture making operation, a toy manufacturing business, or even a sawmill, you will encounter an issue that is similar to all wood working plants: the question of wood dust waste and what to do with it? Dust is inevitable, of course, because shaping pieces of wood will result in fine granules that you can’t have floating around the shop. Most wood working plants have collection facilities that get the wood dust out of the way, but what do you do once those facilities are full? After all, disposing of this dust can prove to be quite expensive. In this article, we will take a look at some ways in which dust from wood working plants may be put to use instead of disposing of it.

As fuel
__________________________________________________________________

Although only present in particle form, the dust that comes off of your wood during the manufacture of products is still wood, and that means it can be used as a good energy source. In fact, there are several systems on the market which not only convert wood dust into energy for heating and so on, but will also monitor the levels of wood dust in a central location and begin the conversion process at certain levels.

As it is a by product, you won’t be able to use wood dust as the primary driver of your heating systems, but collecting and burning it at the right levels will save you some energy costs.

Bedding for livestock

Another good use of wood dust is as ground cover for various shelters used by livestock. Wood dust is similar to sawdust in that it will absorb a lot of waste and make it easier to clean out of the animal’s shelter; in fact, because it is quite fine it may act somewhat like clumping cat litter and make stalls and barns that much easier to clean out. It can be used effectively as bedding and ground cover for sheep, goats, rabbits, horses, chickens, pigs, and other domesticated animals.

So before you throw that wood dust away, try to consider some alternatives. The usefulness of our suggestions will, of course, depend on the size of your operations, but if you do have a medium to large size wood working plant then it is well worth your while to cut down on expensive disposal fees.

Normally following a tight regime of a controlled diet and regular exercises are the measures prescribed for weight loss. Most of the people find it difficult to follow these measures over an extended period.

It is claimed that with Alli you can escape these grating restrictions and can follow near-normal routines; slowly but steadily you can manage to lose weight and lead a healthier life. Alli is a FDA approved OTC weight loss product. Alli is not a dietary supplement; it is claimed to help you lose weight gradually; by working as a fat binder or fat blocker.

Excessive intake of calories causes increase of weight; and fats contribute far more calories in food-intake as compared to proteins and carbohydrates. Fat in our diet is the main culprit in weight gain. When taken in the prescribed manner, the active ingredient of Alli attach themselves to some of the natural enzymes in the digestive system; this prevents these enzymes from breaking down over 25% of the fat you eat. This undigested fat cannot be absorbed by the body and it passes through the body in the natural way. This excess fat is prevented from contributing to weight gain.

Alli only works on enzymes that would normally help in digestion of fat. So carbohydrates and proteins are not affected and these nutrients are absorbed by the body in the normal manner. Alli works only in your digestive system; it does not act on your heart or brain. You would not feel unsettling effects such as sleeplessness, racing heart or jitters which are commonly experienced with other weight loss drugs or supplements.

When you use Alli to lose weight, you may have to observe certain drastic dietary restrictions, depending on your existing diet. Manufacturers of Alli advise you to consume reduced-calorie meals of 15gms or less of fats on an average. For some this may be a rather severe restriction, but that is the price to pay for being able to have the option of slow but steady weight loss leading to a better life.

You may suffer certain side effects such as loose motion, frequent bowel movements, gas, etc. if you do not observe the restriction of 15 gms of fat. Obviously if you are able to adjust to the dietary limitations and put up with the side effects – “treatment effects” as the makers of Alli call them – Alli should be able to work for you.

Originally Khokhloma wood tableware were produced in monasteries and for the czar court only. At that time Khokhloma tableware production was not large scale. It was because of expensive imported tin. In 1720s after the end of the North War tin flow to Russian increased. The price went down and the material came within reach of many masters. The production and the sales of brightly painted hand made art works expanded.

Thus in the XIX century items with khokhloma painting were famous not only in Russia but in Persia, India, Middle East, the USA and Australia as well. The export of khokhloma items grew after the worldwide exhibition in 1889 in Paris.

In 1916 Nizhegorodskoye Zemstvo established the first School for Wood-Working Arts and Crafts in Semyonov. The folk arts and folklore flourished in Volga region near Nizhny Novgorod province. No other territory in Russia could equal it in the number and originality of the folk arts and crafts that had sprang to life and were developed in the local communities. The Khokhloma art painting on wooden tableware is the type of Nizhny Novgorod folk art craft that became most popular in Russia and foreign countries.

The “grass-leaves” decorative ornaments and their peculiar color scheme suggest that the Khokhloma art is rooted in the ancient Russian decorative culture while the imitation of gilt ornaments on wood dates back to the medieval Russian handicraft skills. The painting technique has been somewhat upgraded but remains essentially the same as in the ancient time.

Khokhloma russian painting amazes you with its delicate grass pattern and festive coloring, which is based on combination of scarlet cinnabar and flittering gold against the black lacquer background. This is Khokhloma specific feature. Masters used tin powder and lacquer to obtain such gold color. Now they use aluminum powder.

First, the art tableware are shaped on a lathe from the dried lime wood, which are turned into bowls, vases, mugs, dishes and spoons.

They are dried and covered with red and brown primer, so that they start looking like earthen. The unpainted articles are now coated with drying oil. Next they are polished with powdered aluminium. They become dull shining, like silver, and go to the painting division. Painted articles are then varnished and hardened in ovens at the temperature of 120-130 degrees. The heat turns the varnish yellow, the “silver” into “gold” and mellows the vivid design with an even, golden tone.

The Khokhloma dishes, cups and wooden drink pots were used for serving food at holiday feasts. The wooden tableware using at the Moscow house of an important statesman had to look valuable; accordingly, they were modeled on the rich painted plates decorated with real golden fabricated by the jewelers for the luxurious homes of the Russian nobility. Thanks to the special varnish and high-temperature processing they are quite practical and safe in use. You can drink and eat using these Khokhloma tableware, because such wares not sensitive to cold and hot, salty and sour food.

Apart from Khokhloma wood presents of tableware most visitors to Russia will have at least one set of Matrioshka dolls in their luggage. These dolls within dolls have long been a source of fascination. The undoing of the main doll to reveal others almost ad-in-finitem has always produced wonderment and appreciation for the woodcrafts art.

Examples of beautiful Khokhloma wood art presents, Paleh and Mstera lacquered miniatures you can look at art store online site. It is amazing that what started out as a true folk tradition over 300 years ago is still thriving and remains basically true to it’s roots, albeit on a more organized scale.

The table is one of the most basic pieces of furniture humans have ever made. Almost every family owns at least two or three because they are so incredibly useful. You need one for your dining room, living room, and entryway. There are items that work similarly to tables, such as dresses, cabinets, and nightstands, but a real table is something you use the surface of on a daily basis.

One room in which you definitely need a work table is the kitchen. I am not referring to a small table you might have in the corner of the room and use for quick meals. You need a kitchen island. Are you someone who suffers from the lack of counter space in the kitchen? It is so difficult to prepare a nutritious meal for five if you have no surface on which you can chop up fruits and vegetables. As a result, you end up throwing family-size frozen dishes in the oven or microwave every night. This method of “cooking” is not healthy! Do yourself and your family a favor and integrate more counter space into your kitchen today.

A kitchen island is the work table that you need. These stations come in all sizes and can be custom-designed in various ways so that they work best for your home’s needs. If you already have a small dining space in your kitchen, you can invest in a smaller island or one that is portable because you do not need it to second as a casual dining area.

If you are someone who simply needs a large, stable cutting board, you should look into purchasing a butcher block or wooden work station. These pieces are made from slabs of wood that are glued tightly together. They are perfect for a surface on which to chop up everything from meat to vegetables because they are easy to clean and sanitize and they are extremely gentle on your knives. Wood work tables keep your knives sharp longer!

A kitchen island table is a great investment for your home. You will love the extra counter space and your family will love the fresh, home cooked meals. Start shopping for your new table today!
